Eleventh Day
We woke up in the mountains, bathed in the lake. We traveled through Durmitor and visited the Ostrog Monastery. We ended the day in Podgorica.

In the early morning hours, we are awakened in the tent by an unpleasant wind, so we get up and zip the flapping door shut, at that moment two wild dogs rush in and aggressively settle their disputes in front of our tent. Fortunately, they scatter away shortly after, and we, still shaken, fall asleep again.
After awakening, we are greeted by a calm morning and a journey to the Montenegrin coast. Our first stop is a small island with the picturesque village of Saint Stephen, but appearances can be deceptive; the village is one large complex of a luxury hotel, which is off-limits to civilians. We enjoy a nice view at least and move on. The city of Budva appears before us, we admire the narrow streets of the old town, and then for about an hour we lie down on the local beach filled with people and a large amount of washed-up seaweed. A quick drive brings us to the city of Kotor, another of the many historic towns on the Adriatic coast. Again, the same scenario follows: a historic city and a beach visit plus some ice cream as a treat.
The last stop of today is the city of Tivat, where we are looking for a suitable place for dinner, which ultimately turned out to be a hamburger in the local typical bread resembling pita.
After a hearty dinner, we set off to find a place to sleep, which we find on a secluded beach where we watch a beautiful sunset. As darkness falls quickly, we set up our tarp, but due to the extreme wind blowing in from the sea, we have to weigh it down with stones so it doesn't fly away. We crawl into our sleeping bags completely cocooned, as every moment we are buried under a pile of sand.
