The Ark to Lake Naivasha

From the Ark, we traveled south for about 4 hours.

With a stop at Thompson Falls before we arrived at Lake Naivasha Country Club, which is located right by Lake Naivasha. A lovely place with some animals roaming freely on the grounds. We received a fairly large room with a bathroom; outside there's a small terrace where one can sit and look out over the lake. At first, it seems like there are a lot of tree branches floating in the lake, but it turns out to be hippos poking their noses up to breathe.

We were given strict guidelines to not go alone between 19:00-07:00; we must have a security guard with us due to the hippos coming up to the lawn to eat. We saw a few of them.
