SABADEEEE and Welcome in Laos!


The reception at the border crossing to Laos was unfortunately not so warm... We had to wait for over 2 hours for our visa and contribute another 10$ for the border guards' after-work beer. Afterwards, we went directly to one of the 4000(?) islands in the middle of the Mekong River.

Life here was very relaxed. Watching waterfalls during the day, watching the sunset in the evening, and playing table tennis at 32 degrees Celsius at 9:00 pm :p
