The Old Royal City of Lao

Luang Prabang made me rave... Old colonial buildings, small alleys - you would feel like being in a small winemaking village. Despite the high number of tourists, the city exuded a casual charm...

We took advantage of the two nights to take a detour to the Tad Luang Xi waterfall and a buffalo farm in the hinterlands. We also visited the Phou Si mountain temple as well as the Night Market, which offered all kinds of grilled specialties.
