Hello Malaysia

We traveled to Malaysia on our own from Thailand. We crossed the border on foot, then took the train to Butterworth and from there took the ferry to Georgetown. Georgetown is really a beautiful city, full of old buildings. After 3 days, we decided to continue to Ipoh, which turned out not to be so clever :D In Ipoh, there is nothing going on. No tourists anywhere and the city itself is not particularly beautiful. It's not a place to celebrate your birthday. The only thing worth mentioning is the chicken rice. At least that was the recommendation in Penang. Yeah, you can eat it, but it's not that great :D Since the buses are super cheap, we decided to just go back to Georgetown. We were already expected in our 'regular bar' :D So you can definitely celebrate :D Birthday survived, now it's time to go shopping. I have to redeem my gift :) Since the weather is currently not on our side, we can't go to the Cameron Highlands and go straight to Kuala Lumpur.
