In short: I'm back from Taiwan

This new Taiwanese film (2025), which was featured at the Venice Biennale, was my choice in the 'Entertainment program' of Air China on the night flight. It tells the story of a girl growing up in difficult family circumstances in the late 1980s. The living conditions of ordinary people, which I have also seen now in side alleys, are - alongside the plot - worth seeing.
