Day 9: Trip to Cat Ba Island

When we arrived in Hanoi at 4:00 am after a rather sleepless night, we spontaneously decided to go to a café that is fortunately open 24 hours. At this time, the usually colorful and bustling streets of Hanoi were completely quiet and empty. In the café, we had a cup of tea, enjoyed the silence of Hanoi, and watched as it slowly became light. At 7:00 am, we finally made our way to the bus station. But before that, we had to quickly get a sandwich from "Banh Mi 25," which is not far away. After a few hours of travel, where we met a former Bamberg resident, we arrived at the coast, from where we took a speedboat to the island of "Cat Ba," which we then crossed to our hotel by bus. There we rested and continued writing our blog. In the evening, we had a delicious burger.
