Day 12: Exploring tour by bicycle

Early at 9:00 am, after breakfast, the bus ride to Ninh Binh started, where we met a couple again that we already knew from the boat tour. After about five hours of driving, we finally arrived at our accommodation in Tam Coc, a small village near Ninh Binh. There we were warmly welcomed and shown our room, which was one of many small huts around a pond in the green. After our arrival, we immediately went out again to eat something in one of the endless restaurants on the main street. Fortunately, it was possible to borrow bicycles for free from the accommodation, with which we could explore the surroundings and the beautiful landscape of the dry Halong Bay. We were cycling until late at night, visited a small temple, and got some fresh fruit at the village market, until we finally fell into bed.
