Hello everyone
Today we have another short report for you.
We started the day quite leisurely, got ourselves and the RV ready for departure, and set off towards “Orlando”.
After about 1.5 hours of driving, we reached a campsite where we wanted to spend the night.
However, there was no reception, no staff member came to assist us, and we couldn’t make the booking online either.
So, we drove a few more minutes to another campsite. This one wasn’t as nice and was right by the road, but there was a reception where we could normally book for one night.
After we parked and set everything up, we grabbed our scooters and wanted to explore the area. We barely made it to the entrance of the campsite, where we encountered a 6-lane road.
We briefly considered our next plan and took the opportunity to cross the road when it presented itself.
We looked around again and no matter how we tried to turn it, we found ourselves in the middle of a busy industrial zone.
At the “Waffle House,” we treated ourselves to a waffle, though we had to search the menu for it properly. Because of the name, we thought they would have a huge selection of waffles, but the menu was largely the same as at other fast-food shops.
Well then…. We bravely tackled the dangerous road crossing again and drove back to our RV.
The rest of the afternoon and evening, we played “Uno” until we couldn't anymore, continued watching our series, and planned the next part of our trip.
Even though we were already on our way to “Orlando,” we decided to take a detour via St. Augustine. On one hand, this place was recommended to us, and on the other hand, we found a few interesting things there that we wanted to check out.
So, that’s it for today ☺️
We wish you a nice evening and see you tomorrow ☺️
