November 19th

The weather has been a bit dull with drizzles and overcast skies, but it makes the morning training feel a bit nicer.

Mulle and I went to Sala Dan for breakfast and did some major grocery shopping. Then Mulle dropped off two training tops for me that needed to be altered because the shoulders were way too long and not adjustable. She altered them perfectly, like a pro!

I got some work done and had a few check-in meetings. I’m not eager to go back right now, but I try to stay updated since I know reality will catch up eventually. Unless I manage to convince Mulle to retire early 🤣

We are all a bit sluggish as the weather is quite dreary, so we just relaxed in the afternoon.

When darkness fell, we went down to the beach to watch the fire show again since Lawa thought it was so cool.

We went to So Good for barbecue. The staff were super friendly, but suddenly an old man came and started changing our table number and messing around, and we had no idea what was going on. When we get irritated, we really do, and then we speak up. It turned out to be the owner, and he was trying to sort things out for some compatriots, but it resulted in our food ending up at the wrong table. Maybe some communication could have solved this smoothly? But we've decided not to go back, grumpy old ladies that we are 🤣

We got to see the fire show and Lawa was thrilled to be an extra. But she said it was exciting; she really felt the heat from the torches.

On our way home, we found a large beetle that looked dead, but it still had some muscles left as it gripped the stick I held out so I could move it off the road.

By the way, our tadpoles are developing nicely; most of them now have both arms and legs, but still have their tails. We're chasing after mosquitoes at full speed to feed them, and they lie out in the rain to get oxygen in their little pool of rainwater. We do everything to ensure these little lives are well.

Yesterday, our neighbors stopped Mulle to point out how wonderful they thought we were to Lawa, and how much time and energy we devoted to her. They often see what happens inside our fence and hear what's going on. Mulle got a tear in her eye, and so did I when I heard. Our little girl, of course, we do everything for her. She is the best ❤️

The same neighbor turned out to be an artist and wondered if Mulle would like to sit as a model, but Mulle declined 🤣 He did say that he could send a dick pic if that could ease the artistic process 🤣🤣🤣

It's so lovely to see how much Lawa has developed in just this short time we've been here. A colleague I spoke with today mentioned they read a book about what people regret on their deathbeds, and a big part is wishing they had been bolder. I'm sure Lawa won't think that way since she is the bravest girl I know, and she has made so many advancements in various things already while we've been here. So incredibly proud of her ❤️
