Today the rain returned, and one must make the best of the situation. I think it's better to have rain at 27 degrees than at 1 degree above zero.

It was a regular morning round, and I then squeezed in a massage. The entire Lawa's class passed by while I was waiting for my turn, and I heard them say, 'Is it Lawa's mom?' Lawa laughed at me but continued to walk towards the beach for a sports lesson.

I seized the opportunity to take a few photos discreetly.

After school, Lawa was going to play paddle with the girls in her class at Malee, and I tagged along since I had nothing better to do; Mulle is working today.

We had a few beers with the moms, and I also got to play some paddle with the kids.

I then took the shuttle home with the kids who were heading to our area. The girls agreed that they wanted to continue with this.

Lawa and I then had salon time at the salon, where Lawa got both a manicure and a pedicure, with lovely flowers on the polish.

I only did my hands since my toes got a treatment last week.

During that time, Lawa sat singing a Thai song with the nail technician. Lawa has picked up some Thai.

The lady who did my nails told me that in her home village, which is near Malaysia, the flooding is so catastrophic that the water is at the same level as the second floor of the houses.

When we were done with our nails, we had dinner at Sisters, and Mulle had a 'lunch break' at work so he could eat with us.

It was also time to release the last tadpoles that had developed the limbs they needed for a life of freedom.

When I went to throw some trash in the evening, a gecko jumped out onto the floor. I have nothing against geckos; they are super cute. But it worries me how it got in..
