Lazy days

Time for school again and morning training.

I had a me-day which included a Thai massage, foot scrub, and pedicure. Insanely nice to just lie there and listen to the sound of the waves....and the German family with small children staying in the bungalow next to the massage beds. 😜

Mulle had a workday so I went with Lawa to Padel training and enjoyed watching her develop a lot. There are 6 classmates playing and they are getting better and better each time.

We also had a swim in the small water park afterwards.

We have been so sick of Thai food that we hesitated for a long time about where to have dinner, and it turned out better than we thought. I found fried liver with dumplings, Lawa had rolled meats with dumplings, and Mulle had Indian food. So happy all around!

A little splash of sunset and a fire show was also what we managed to fit in!

Eat, sleep and repeat!

Calm days when not much happens.

Today, Lawa had Thai boxing but I skipped mine, my body just can't take it. The strength is there but definitely not the stamina.

But we never miss our morning rounds on the beach!

Decorated the house for Christmas today, with all three things we had. 🎄

Mulle and I organized a snorkeling trip for Friday and took the opportunity to have brunch at Sala Dan. It rarely turns out well, and it didn't today either.

We also visited Dr. Pad as I had missed bringing enough medicine here, but unfortunately, they couldn't arrange anything. So I'm trying to find a solution to make it last for the rest of the trip.

I also managed to throw in a greeting at a meeting at work with a lovely picture from Thailand, got a ton of likes on the picture from names I didn't recognize, realized then that quite a few were called to the meeting, not just our little team. They probably wondered who this annoying person was...

Dinner was had on Walking Street, and as usual, we ate a cavalcade of different things.

Dumplings, bacon-wrapped sausage skewers, grilled sandwich with crab stick, shrimp cake, squishy balls. And I bought fried bananas, but I got like three whole ones so I gave up early with the rest.

If you’ve eaten Bitterballe in Holland, you must also try Pung Pung Cheese in Thailand. Which turned out to be a hot sandwich made in an Air fryer😀

The evening was spent helping Lawa catch up on her diary that she hadn't written in since....the flight down!😀
