Crossing to Easter Island to the Pitcairn Islands - Day 1 at Sea

We are on our way again to the next South Sea islands, the Pitcairn Islands. The islands became famous due to the mutineers of the Bounty, who settled there in 1789.

On board, we do the usual things: reading newspapers and books, listening to lectures, working out, swimming, and enjoying good food. We have been informed that the schedule is slightly changing. Instead of two days, we will now spend a full three days in Papeete on Tahiti (the capital of French Polynesia). Since the sister ship had issues with its stabilizers, preventive work will also be done on our ship. Although we are losing another stop, it wasn't particularly attractive, and the extra day may even allow for paragliding.
