The second day at sea is coming to an end, and tomorrow we will arrive at Henderson Island in the Pitcairn Islands. Pitcairn is famous for the Bounty mutiny. It is a group of islands consisting of the closely situated islands of Pitcairn itself, Henderson, Ducie, and Oeno. Only Pitcairn is inhabited. We would have also stopped at Ducie, but that has been canceled due to maintenance work.
Today, we received our snorkeling gear and were thoroughly instructed. They take these things quite seriously, just like the information about the land and its people.
