Halls Gap - Dunkeld - Warrnambool - Port Fairy

With a bit of nostalgia, we left Halls Gap today. The drive to Port Fairy was very beautiful. On one hand, we saw kangaroos and many emus, and we even had to stop to avoid running them over. On the other hand, the landscape was lovely, from the foothills of the Grampians through green fields to the sea at Port Fairy.

On the way, we first made a stop in Dunkeld. It's considered a lovely place. Then we continued on to Warrnambool - what a name - which is quite a large city with around 100,000 residents including the suburbs. We refueled there and did our laundry.

Upon arriving in Port Fairy, we checked into a very nice room. Then we took a little stroll around the town. The town is small with about 3,000 residents. It is touristy, but significantly more attractive than the German-made Hahndorf. We did a bit of shopping and checked out the restaurants.
