After a few relaxed days at Nina's farm, we continue north after a long breakfast.

Our first stop is Haapsalu – a small, charming coastal town on the west coast of Estonia. Known for its wooden old town, the tranquil seaside setting, and its unique light. The romantic promenade and the old bishop's castle remind us of times gone by, when even the wives of Russian tsars came here for recuperation. The Russian composer Tchaikovsky is said to have spent his summers here. Today, a touch of nostalgia hangs over the town – small cafés, galleries, and the salty scent of the sea invite you to linger.
At Haapsalu's seaside promenade. The swans are real. ;)

The next morning, we take the ferry from Rohuküla to Sviby – arriving on Hiiumaa, Estonia's second-largest island. And immediately, a different kind of calm sets in: forests, empty beaches, crooked lighthouses. Time seems to pass more slowly here, and the world feels quieter. We explore the island, let ourselves drift, and quickly find ourselves captivated by Hiiumaa's rugged beauty.
