Costa Rica Animal Rescue Center Guayabo

In a small village nearby, there was an Animal Rescue Center that you could visit without spending much money, and the children were happy. We donated something, and we were shown the entire property, which was huge. On the premises, they also had apartments for rent. If we had known that beforehand, we probably would have gone there, and the children could have played with the dogs every day. Unfortunately, they had just started and were not yet listed on booking, where we had booked everything. Nevertheless, it was a lovely afternoon, and there were howler monkeys living in the trees on the property, making for some great photos...

Aside from about 50 dogs, they also have cows, goats, and horses that they have rescued, nursed back to health, and then, when possible, rehomed. They have a vet who comes regularly and an operating room for animals who have suffered injuries...
