6. Stage Praia de Odeceixe - Monte Clerigo

Today’s hike was rather reminiscent of a stretch that easily could belong to a stage of the  Camino de Santiago. Although we initially walked along the coast, we soon alternated between long gravel paths and field tracks. So, it was somewhat monotonous, offering a chance to walk without much thought. In between, we treated ourselves to a delicious meal in Aljezur before the last 6 kilometers, which took us uphill for quite a while. Upon reaching our destination, we had actually covered 27.5 km and ascended 400 meters. A beautiful accommodation awaited us, fortunately equipped with a washing machine. Since today marked the halfway point, we took a walk to the beach at Praia Monte Clerigo. Therefore, we added another 2.5 km. In total, we completed the full 30 km ☺☺☺.
