Snow and White Sausage Drama...

3:30 AM. The alarm clock doesn't ring, it threatens. While normal people turn over for a few more minutes, we hop in our cars and dash off into the darkness.

We did it, perfectly packing seven motorcycles, spare parts, gas cans, beer supplies, and camping gear. We thought of everything. Really everything. Except... for the white sausages.

Yes, they are still at home, all alone in the yard. A sacrilege for a proper start to the tour! So while we are mentally preparing ourselves for couscous and dates, we briefly mourn the lost white sausages.

The ride through the Alps goes smoothly, and we drive through the snow once more before we will see sand a day later.

Now, in Genoa at the harbor, we are left with only snacks of canned sausage and Landjäger.

The ferry is a bit older, but just to be safe, new lifeboats are being installed....😅

The people on the 'Sun Princess' moored next door live a bit more luxuriously, but none of us would willingly trade places!!
