Today, Friday (May 29), we will depart from our sheltered anchorage at 09:27 heading towards Väddö Canal and further north.
The canal was constructed in 1553 to provide smaller boats with a route over the open sea and has a length of 22 nautical miles.
The weather improved significantly throughout the day, and by the end, it was sunny and warm. The north wind died down and shifted to the east. If the forecast holds, it will blow from the south in the coming days, gently pushing us northward.
After the canal, we will continue through the archipelago to Öregrund, where we expect to dock in the harbor around 19:20.
