For one night, we are parked in a parking lot, not very nice, but manageable. Just across is Sicily. Almost like in Lassan 😉 Tomorrow, we want to go to Reggio Calabria.
Reggio Calabria has a beautiful promenade and a great shopping street. Since today is Sunday, there is quite a buzz! After a lengthy stroll, we will continue on. We want to head to a kiter spot in Pellaro.
The underpass towards the site is definitely too low for us. According to reviews, there is an alternative. However, I can’t even find the road on Google Maps.
A young man asks if we are looking for a spot. He says it's not possible here and shows us the other route. When we mention that we want to go to the kiter spot, he gets excited. He works there.
And here we are, idyllically located under olive trees and all alone for two nights. With a toilet and shower just for us.
After a peaceful sunny day, we continue on. We circle the southern tip of the Italian mainland.
