Lake Constance
We're taking the route to the lake. At the Bodan shipyard, we park illegally in the parking lot. Since it's currently off-season, we hope no sheriff comes by. This evening, we...

The first day at Rivamare was forgettable. Just rain, wind, and starting over again. I actually wanted to hike to the lakes with Mayla, which are here even without rain. But no chance, the paths
are completely flooded. So back to the beach and towards the town. On the Lungomare, Mayla and I are all alone today. At night, it rains and storms so loudly that we can hardly understand our own words.
But then! The next day is pure sunshine. We have breakfast outside for the first time, wash laundry, and enjoy what we actually wanted. SUN! During our Sunday walk, the Lungomare looks completely different. People, open bars and cafés, and Carnevale. In the evening, we experience a beautiful sunset atmosphere with great clouds. And we receive the sad news that a dear long-term camper has passed away despite originally good news.
Since the weather forecast is again looking worse, we drive to Gallipoli. The route from Torre San Giovanni is not easy: everything is underwater.
We visit Gallipoli (lots of old stone buildings and somehow always the same) and continue to Taranto. A route we will avoid in the future. Bad roads, nothing to see, and it drags on.
Tonight we are at Camping Sun Bay in San Vito near Toronto. It feels like they only opened for us. The wind is blowing fiercely, but we have a sea view. Let's see what we do. The weather won't improve until the end of the month.
