Caulonia Marina

We had Camping Afrodite in Caulonia Marina on our radar already last year. It is said to be nice and has a very friendly owner. The man is truly very kind. Less than half an hour after our arrival, we were greeted with a whole crate of oranges and lemons as a welcome gift.

However, we do not like the place itself. Being completely surrounded by high hedges makes it feel very cramped. With the large RV, maneuvering is nearly impossible, despite the active help from the neighbors.

There are long-term campers around us, some of whom have been here since October. That’s not our vibe. We decide to head back to Kokus.

After a day of dog walking, cycling, and laundry which almost dried (the weather isn’t cooperating either), we escape after two nights and move four kilometers to Kokus. It’s nice here, and the sun is supposed to shine again from tomorrow.
