…Said the lovely ward doctor. The whole diagnostic process started with her and she worked hard to get me appointments with professors everywhere. Now she is my attending doctor here. The remark that I was now a patient and should just act like one was meant kindly. I just can't sit still and take myself back. The day before yesterday I checked the shelf life of the medication in the cupboard on my own ward. Today I have already created a homework assignment for my trainees in the morning and later I will go to further training. Now would be the perfect time to just relax. But that's not who I am.
