“You’re a patient now!”
…Said the lovely ward doctor. The whole diagnostic process started with her and she worked hard to get me appointments with professors everywhere. Now she is my attending doctor...

No, not because I'm in a private ward, but because my boss made me one!
Blood sample has been taken. The ward doctor hasn't told me yet, but I've already seen it: my fibrinogen is 1.19, well below normal. So no plasmapheresis today. Maybe a break wouldn't be a bad idea, then check again on Monday. My lack of immune system and the stress of the therapy are making themselves felt. I feel very weak, yesterday I was on the verge of syncope and my bladder hurts a lot. Maybe that's a sign to really slow down a bit, but I worked again today, right at breakfast, and prepared an oral exam for a trainee. But today is also a visiting day, which I'm really looking forward to. Maybe I can even wash my hair carefully in secret. Today is actually my hair washing day and I feel really bad on my head, but I'm not allowed to.
