If you stay longer in Trieste, you could also take a short trip to Muggia. It takes about 30 minutes by bus from the city center.

The fishing village doesn't have a lot to offer. We had been told that it would be particularly beautiful here, so we were a little disappointed.

But if you come with an open mind, maybe just to take a quick spin, it's fine.
