Day 6: Rotenburg --> Fulda

Published: 25.07.2023

After breakfast at a bakery, I headed to the first stop, Bad Hersfeld.

There, I actually did some street music. At first, it went really poorly, but eventually I made a bit of money. After about half an hour, a children's dance group started next to me, so I stopped. I made 7.90€! Just enough for an ice cream sundae afterwards. But the most beautiful woman I had seen in three days applauded (the only one!). And later, a fellow musician (a duo of harp and saxophone) said, 'Nice singing' to me. Well, you have to be satisfied with the little things, applause is the bread of, uh, the artist anyway.

Shortly before five, I arrived in Fulda. I took a look around, and there was a lot going on because Roland Kaiser was in town. Plus, there was also a state garden show happening here! And overall, lots of music and many cafes/bars. I didn't want to squeeze in with my mini-guitar.

I arrived back here (in a small AirBnB apartment) with the last drop of battery power, showered, and went out again. First, I checked out the garden show area, then went back into town. Roland Kaiser could be heard really loudly, the pubs were very crowded, and I had a bite to eat before returning to my little room. 88 km, 493 km total.
