Sydney Day 4, Who broke the weather? 01.07.25

The morning view out of the window does not greet us with sunshine! It is gray, gloomy, and rainy...and the temperature gauge announces 18 degrees?! Does the southern hemisphere even know that it is summer?

On the way to our little breakfast café, we are nearly blown away...what an uncomfortably fresh day! Over coffee and croissants, we discuss the day's program. First, we head to the fish market. Crowded, bustling, and fishy...but absolutely worth seeing! It's a shame we aren't hungry, the fish looks really delicious!

After that, we take the Lightline to Darling Harbour and go for a little boat ride. The Opera and the bridge can never be seen too often. However, it is getting quite chilly on the water...we were actually expecting to freeze only much later in New Zealand!

Afterwards, the plan is to return to the hotel for a nap. We're not the youngest anymore, so it takes a bit longer to recover from jetlag. However, our room issues, which we will report on later, prevent this.

We spend our last evening again at the Oxford Hotel, also due to a lack of alternatives. The Stonewall Hotel is now closed on Mondays and Tuesdays...that's something you can do. But we still want to attempt one last drag show and go to Universal.

There is still nearly an hour until the show starts, and besides us, only 2 other people have shown up so far. I'm also starting to feel tired...the doll is a bit more lively today. Since we have an early start tomorrow, we decide not to torture ourselves any longer and head off to the land of dreams.
