And we drive drive drive on the highway
What can be said about today’s journey? 07:50 Departure - Sunny weather at 14 degrees Italian highways are so empty on a Sunday morning, it was truly a delight. We passed Turin...

Today was another leg of over 400km. The destination was Valencia, where I will take my first two-day stop.
To avoid the morning traffic around Barcelona, I first hit the highway behind Barcelona. Then I relaxed through the Catalonian wine region on small, winding roads (even though the first picture shows a straight road).
What truly brings tears to your eyes are the fuel prices. As low as 1.32 Euros per liter for Super 95. One can't help but wonder if we are the cash cow of the oil companies in Germany (especially since our finance minister also holds out his hand quite a bit). If fuel can be this cheap in Spain despite the turmoil with Iran, then something is seriously wrong on our end.
An old nuclear power plant crossed my path, which was no longer the youngest.
The weather in Valencia is fantastic, 24 degrees and sunny. Perfect!
