To the End of the World
I surprisingly slept very well. The first glance out of the window - rain, quite gloomy out there but still very beautiful. A great view of the island world of South Patagonia....

This morning we set out to meet the head of the local outdoor clothing business, Jorge, who rented us a car (Kia, small but nice) to explore a bit of Navarino Island..... Said and done.
First, we visited Fernando, a good friend of Uncle Padre from the parish in Osorno. Fernando came to Puerto Williams with his wife 20 years ago to take a position as a high school teacher.
Then along the coast of the Beagle Channel, with views of Argentina, we headed west, about 35 km to the end of the road at the end of the world. This road ends abruptly here, and you can only reach a few smaller places by boat or on horseback....
The Laguna Zanarto, and the Omora Nature Park, with the southernmost forest in the world - once again a visual delight! With beautiful weather, 13 degrees, and sunshine, we were able to enjoy the marvelous impressions. We had dinner at the restaurant 'Resto Del Sur' and then it's off to bed - Buenas Noches!
