Moving and Meeting Friends

The days at the Hotel Villa Beatrice were great. Especially the direct view of Lake Garda from the 3rd floor and our balcony. The only downside was the absence of sun protection, which forced us to retreat to our room by 4 PM. It was unbearable in the scorching sun.

After a good breakfast, we drove the 36 km along the lakeside road towards Lazise.

We had rented a house here, and were able to collect the keys at 9:30 AM and move into the 85 m2 house. It has everything, just no pool. However, our friends, who have an apartment just 300 m away, do have one.

The joy of seeing each other again was immense, and after unloading and storing our luggage, we drove to the store in our friends' convertible.

In the afternoon, we had a lovely barbecue and played some dice games. Afterwards, we shared some silly stories. It was a wonderful afternoon/evening.

We are staying in Lazise for 5 nights. Let’s see what the days bring, apart from less money in our wallets. ;-)    

On 01.06.25, we explored the town of Lazise. With 29 degrees and a shady spot with a cool drink, it was much more bearable. If it weren’t for the many tourists, Lazise would be an original little harbor town. The alleys were picturesque.

After exploring the town, we enjoyed some delicious food and had a small game of Yahtzee in the afternoon.
