• Bruny Island can be conveniently reached by ferry in 15 minutes from the small marina in Kettering.
• The island is about 50 kilometers long and separates the D'Entrecasteaux Channel from the Tasman Sea. The unique feature of the island is the narrow neck that connects North and South Bruny.
• The Bruny Lighthouse from 1838 was the longest operating lighthouse in Australia. The Lighthouse Road down to the Cape is a good gravel road that doesn't require a 4WD. The bays and viewpoints along the way and at the lighthouse are spectacular.
• The restaurant at the Bruny Hotel is our version of the island's Zanzibar. The food is freshly prepared with local products. Whether oysters natural | Kilpatrick | baked, salt & pepper squids, seafood chowder, or the seafood platter on the last evening, everything is unique and extremely delicious. Make sure to reserve a table!
• Every culinary attraction exists on Bruny Island exactly once and in absolutely high quality: Cheese & Beer, Chocolate Company, House of Whisky, Premium Wines, Raspberry Farm, Get Shucked Oyster Farm, Cider, Honey, and Bread in the Fridge.
• The stores for daily needs are also available just once: General Store and gas station in Adventure Bay, Bottle Shop, pharmacy, post office, police station, and a Health Centre in Alonnah.
  Therefore, for a longer stay, bring all the essentials to the island!
