Apulia - Bio Agriturismo Serragambetta

The last leg goes from Alberobello to the Bio Agriturismo Serragambetta. Here we just want to chill and be pampered.

Relaxation and pampering are truly the order of the day here. Domenico and Sheila pour their hearts into it, surprising us anew every day. Whether it's with the unbelievably delicious breakfast (everything you could wish for and more). Or in the evening with pasta, pesto, focaccia, fish, grain risotto, and wonderful desserts. Everything is organic, almost everything is homegrown and prepared fresh on-site.

The absolute highlight is the pizza evening. A long table is set up, and guests take their seats in the order they arrive. Several different pizzas follow, and at the end, everyone can create their own favorite pizza. Domenico is completely in his element when baking pizzas. The oven is heated with pine wood, and due to the high temperatures, the pizza is ready in 2.5 minutes!

• Bio Agriturismo Serragambetta: we stayed in the Bosque room, equipped with a refrigerator and its own terrace. Meals included breakfast and dinner with wine - all organic quality!
  
  
• Day trip to Polignano a Mare: wonderful old town right by the sea filled with thousands of tourists.
  
  
• The Maiakera: organic shop with bistro - a hidden gem in this area. The salad for lunch was one of the best I've ever had. And the selection of organic pasta & co is more than sufficient.
