The Table Mountain
We are lucky, the weather is perfect today! Spontaneously took an UBER to the base station of Table Mountain, bought a Fast Track ticket, stood in line for 45 minutes, and off we go in the Cable Car for a magnificent view over Cape Town and the surrounding area .....
If you forgot sunscreen and a hat: you can buy them here too. Jörg now has a great souvenir.
We've been to Cape Town several times, and each time the weather didn't cooperate. Either it was too windy or too foggy - and then the Cable Car stops. This can even happen quite suddenly; in one day Cape Town can have all four seasons. So we took the first opportunity to go up Table Mountain.
The Cable Car rotates 360 degrees during the approximately 5-minute ride. This way, every passenger, no matter where they stand in the cabin, gets the complete panoramic view - really well done.
The Fast Track ticket is definitely worth it, because with the standard ticket, the waiting time would have been 3 hours, even in sweltering heat.
