Montreux-Château, Dannemarie, Mulhouse
For the crossing in the channel at the Burgundy Gate, we have planned three stages. After our registration for the subsequent stretch, we start the ascent to Montreux-Château....

We begin our day in Mulhouse with the obligatory trip to the bakery; we need a baguette, or better yet, two.
Breakfast was planned, and I intended to shower and get a haircut at home. I ended up postponing the haircut for now. I had marked Coiffure Aimée in Rue Wilson. On our way into the city, I made the appointment for 1:00 PM. We strolled through the city, visited the town hall, grabbed a coffee in between, and on the way back, my first officer picked up a few things for the kitchen.
The church was closed, Neo-Gothic, and really, we have already visited several churches.
Haircut done, and back to the boat. The last two days have been tiring, so we relaxed a bit and prepared for our departure from Mulhouse.
Mulhouse, of course, is not limited to the old town. Above the port, there is a bus station, and behind it, the main train station. Residential areas in the outskirts.
We limited our visit to the old town.
