During the night, we sailed over Florø, Måløy, and in the early morning we reach Torvik, after a short stop we continue to Ålesund. We navigate into the beautiful Hjørundfjord, heading towards Urke. Despite some light rain, we take advantage of our stop to explore the small village; even with fog and rain, stunning pictures can be captured. On our return to Ålesund, the sun greets us once again. This allows us to explore Ålesund in sunny weather.

Urke is a village in the municipality of Ørsta , Møre and Romsdal, Norway. The village is located on the northern shore of the Norangsfjord, a branch on the eastern side of the Hjørundfjord. Urke is approximately 11 kilometers south of the mountain Slogen. The village Sæbø is located almost exactly to the west, on the opposite side of the Hjørundfjord. A ferry connects the two villages.

In Urke, the coastal route (kystrute) ships do not have a dock. Passengers are picked up in the bay in front of the village by boats from the ships. The ship remains in the Norangsfjord. It is a small, picturesque village at the mouth of the Norangsfjord.

It belongs to the municipality of Ørsta, which had a population of 10,830 as of 01.01.2021. As of 01.01.2021, Urke reported a population of 55.
