Knin - a surprisingly beautiful overnight spot
Stopover in Knin. This place was meant to serve just as a place to stay overnight. I ended up in a motel where I felt a bit uncomfortable for the first time, as a solo female...

Split is one of the most popular cities on the Croatian coast. Even in Italy, people recommended this city to me and told me I should definitely stop by.
During my first walk through the city, I stumbled upon a private garden with many peacocks in a residential area. I was quite surprised.
Otherwise, I was welcomed by the most beautiful sunshine, and spring is blossoming more and more.
Nevertheless, appearances can be deceiving. Unfortunately, it was really cold. We had 10 degrees and a cold wind. Yet, we tried to enjoy the time. On my first evening, I looked around the city, but then I sat for a long time on the promenade due to severe foot pain, gazing out at the water and watching the people passing by.
In my hostel, I randomly ended up with two other travelers I already knew. I had met one on the train to Ljubljana and then, amusingly, met her again in Bled, and the other I met in my hostel room in Bled.
This way, we could spend our time in Split together again.
The next day, we took a trip to Omiš and in the evening we had time to stroll through the old town once more.

The day concluded relaxed at the hostel with a beautiful view and a lovely evening of singing together and playing the guitar.

The next morning, after checking out, I enjoyed the sun and the palms one last time, and then it was off to Dubrovnik with the Flixbus.
