What a day!!!
We got up early today because at 8:45 AM we headed towards New York: We wanted to see the NY Yankees baseball game at the stadium. After driving for 2 hours, we found out that the game was canceled because the weather was too bad and they can't play in the rain.
After a lot of consideration, we turned around and drove towards Albany. There, Matt's brother has a barbecue restaurant. We ate very typically there: chicken wings, spare ribs, mac 'n' cheese… very delicious, but it's a bit strange that you eat EVERYTHING with your fingers here. Well, my face got a bit messy too :-)
Afterwards, we went to a huge mall where there was a trampoline park. Micah and I could really let loose there. It was also super interesting to see all the machines that sell ice cream and sweets. The shopping center was enormous and we looked around a bit and bought a Yankees shirt for me since the game was canceled. At the end of the day, we spontaneously got tickets for another Yankees game tomorrow: So we’re heading out again tomorrow…
