Have you ever woken up at 2 a.m.? That’s quite early, but we met with the whole group in Hanover at 4 a.m. Then we headed towards Munich at 6 a.m. There we had to change planes and boarded the United Airlines flight that took us to New York in 8.5 hours. It was quite exciting: Everyone had their own TV, and you could choose your own programming. There was food and plenty of Sprite :-)
We arrived in Newark at 12:30 p.m. We felt a bit nervous during immigration, but it turned out to be much easier than expected: A very nice officer interviewed us and wished us lots of fun during our exchange. Terry picked us up with a typical American school bus. After another 3 hours, we finally arrived in Delhi at 5 p.m. All the host families were waiting for us at the school
