Today it finally happened! We were at the New York Yankees baseball game in the stadium. It was very exciting and interesting to watch the game. The Yankees won 11:2 against the Toronto Blue Jays and scored as many points in one inning as they haven't since 2022. There was super delicious ice cream and hot dogs 🌭. We had great seats and the atmosphere was really good.
To get there, we first had to drive 1.5 hours by car to Poughkeepsie and then another 1.5 hours by train to the Bronx (where the stadium is located). The car ride took us through a beautiful landscape with many mountains and valleys (Catskills Mountains) and charming little towns. The train ran right along the Hudson River the whole time. That was really cool.
