La Alquería is a locality (hamlet, parish or village) that belongs to the municipality of Galera, in the northeast of the province of Granada, in Andalusia (Spain, Europe). It is part of the Comarca of Huéscar, of the natural region (and tourist area) of the Altiplano de Granada, of the community of municipalities of the Comarca of Huéscar, and, since 2020, it is also part of the territory of the Granada Geopark (also called the Quaternary Geopark of the Northern Valleys of Granada). Additionally, it belongs to the judicial district of Huéscar, the judicial district No. 8 of the province of Granada.

It has a population (according to INE data from 2023) of 98 inhabitants. La Alquería is located 6 kilometers from Galera (approximately 8 minutes).

The small but beautiful parish church of La Alquería is dedicated to San Isidro Labrador (it was formerly dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus); it was built around the year 1936. The current patron of La Alquería is San Isidro Labrador and the original patron was the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Its patron saint festivities, in honor of San Isidro Labrador, are celebrated around May 15; although some years (not all) the Summer Festivals of La Alquería, also in honor of San Isidro Labrador, are celebrated around July 29.
