Cortijo del Cura (also known as Cortijos del Cura or el Cura) is a locality (hamlet, village, or settlement) belonging to the municipality of Galera, in the northeast of the province of Granada, in Andalucía (Spain, Europe). It is part of the Huéscar Comarca, in the natural region (and tourist area) of the Altiplano de Granada, of the community of municipalities of the Huéscar Comarca and, since 2020, it is also part of the territory of the Granada Geopark (also known as the Quaternary Geopark of the Northern Valleys of Granada). Additionally, it belongs to the judicial district of Huéscar, judicial district no. 8 of the province of Granada.

It has a population (according to INE data from 2023) of 42 inhabitants. Cortijo del Cura is located 11 kilometers away from Galera (approximately 11 minutes).

The small but beautiful parish church of Cortijo del Cura is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. The patron of Cortijo del Cura is Saint John the Baptist. Its patronal festivities, in honor of Saint John the Baptist, are celebrated around June 23, coinciding with the famous Verbena de San Juan.
