We arrived in Bangkok very tired on February 21st. After 12 hours of travel, we were ready to check in at our hotel at 8:00 AM in Bangkok, but had to wait an additional 4 hours for check-in. Bangkok is a large, modern, and beautiful city, with very humble people. We visited a mall solely dedicated to second-hand clothes, and a very modern shopping center, which is one of the largest in the world. We also visited a huge weekend market with plenty of street food.
On our last evening, we went to the first muay thai stadium in the world. There, we watched 8 matches with 2 knockouts. In between the matches, we were told the history of muay thai's origins, as well as the use of the martial art in the past. We were also greatly shocked by their amazing food and cheap prices. 💌
Now the journey continues to Chiang Mai 🚌
