After twelve hours, I finally landed in Cancun. Until the plane touched down, I thought we were still in the air because it's so foggy here. 30 degrees and pouring rain. 😱
The flight was really pleasant, I sat next to a nice Mexican woman who is also going to Monterrey to visit her family. I had a great conversation with her and we will meet again in Monterrey. ☺️
The only downside: gluten-free food would have cost an extra 25€ and I didn't feel like paying for it. So I had to eat pasta with "Bolognese" sauce. My body didn't like it very much 🙈
The ground staff here is really nice and they make sure you get to the right terminal, etc. We don't have that kind of service back home.
Unfortunately, there is no smoking area after the security check 🙄 but since my head is already blocked, maybe that's for the best.
