Backpacking through Central America

I arrived in Puerto Escondido exactly one month ago with a lot of excess luggage. To get my bearings, I booked a project with accommodation. Since I enjoy it here by the sea so much, I extended my stay by 3 weeks. Although it is still the rainy season, the first 3 weeks were filled with sunshine and beautiful days at the beach. Currently, there are heavy thunderstorms during the day, and the streets quickly get flooded and resemble rushing rivers.
