Transfer Drive CHC - Wanaka

Today, I've decided to treat myself to something special - I'm bringing a 38-year-old ex-Army Land Rover to Wanaka. The inland route takes me past Lake Tekapo (with its little chapel) and Lake Pukati (with views of Mount Cook) over Lindis Pass to Wanaka. Amazing impressions in a beautiful landscape... Unfortunately, the vehicle is just too big for the garage, so it has to stay outside. After all, it has made it here at all. I walk back to the accommodation, and dinner on the terrace tastes even better with that view. The next morning, I take the bus to Queenstown at 08:00, then I'll fly back over the magnificent Alps to CHC in 45 minutes.
