Plettenberg Bay

Today we set aside a relaxation day in Plettenberg Bay. The morning began comfortably on the hotel terrace – with breakfast and a beautiful view.

Afterwards, we made a detour to a hotel with a unique location on a promontory, almost completely surrounded by the Indian Ocean.

Today, even I went swimming. The water wasn't that cold. The waves there are very nice.

After that, we treated ourselves to a massage right on the beach for about 6.50 euros. 

Then we walked on to the main beach of Plettenberg Bay. We took a short break at an inn, accompanied by DJ music. Afterwards, we walked along the beach to the estuary and circled the entire sandy beach of Plettenberg Bay. At the estuary, the water was bathtub temperature.

Overall, we covered about 12 kilometers walking or hiking. To conclude, we went swimming once more before returning to our hotel. After that, we strolled through the shopping street of Plettenberg Bay.

For dinner, we stayed at the hotel again, as the food had been so delicious the day before. And it once again did not disappoint today.

Tomorrow, we continue to the Africano Lodge near the Elephant National Park. There, we will celebrate New Year's Eve and stay for two nights.
