Cochabamba

April 30 - May 3, 2026

After a wild bus ride through the foothills of the Andes, we have arrived in Cochabamba, the culinary capital of Bolivia. We enjoyed delicious meals here and had a wild party night where we met some very nice Bolivians and shared another meal together. Additionally, we explored the largest open-air market in South America - there was truly everything available, from food to TVs, shoelaces, and wigs. We also visited a mountain in the northern part of the city, where a giant statue of Christ stands, and on the way up, the crucifixion is depicted with further statues.

Subsequently, we traveled on to the backpacker village of Samaipata, and the journey there was also beautiful!
