Road Trip - Baja California Sur

After a tequila party night at the Aloha Bar, we set off on Friday with our travel backpacks to Tec and directly to the Guadalajara airport at 3pm. Because we're heading to Baja California Sur! 🛫

At the airport, we were picked up by Dominik and our rental car (Gucci) and headed to Cabo San Jose.

After the first night, we went straight to the coastal town of Cabo San Lucas to enjoy the beach and have tacos :) 🌮🇲🇽

For the next 2 nights, we stayed in Todos Santos, where we found sea urchins, beaches with indescribable sunsets, and also the Hotel California. 🎶

On day 5, we reached our northernmost destination: La Paz, with lots of car karaoke (One Direction, Abba, and Fast Car).

Our adventures in 3 days in La Paz:

• Playa la Balandra 🌊🐚
• Playa el Tacobite

After the beach days, we headed into the mountains - Santiago. ⛰️ There was so much to see, like hot springs (with mini water snakes), waterfalls with beautiful river climbing hikes, and stunning landscapes / life outside the tourist areas.

For the next two nights, we returned to the sea, this time to the Gulf of California - a diver's paradise! Cabo Pulmo was our snorkeling spot with so many colorful fish and as later revealed by Marnique's drone, also sharks, many sharks (blacktip reef sharks)! 🪸🤿 🦈

Sadly, the others had to fly home again, so only Dominik, Melly, Michi, and I stayed until Tuesday. Then we went to La Ventana - surfer’s paradise. 🏄🏽‍♀️🤙🏼 Here was the highlight of my vacation - the cactus hike at sunset! 🏜️
