After a leisurely morning of reading, sorting pictures, and simply enjoying, Davey joined me. We laughed a lot and quickly decided to bake the cinnamon rolls I promised today. So we started preparing the dough. Afterwards, I rode my bike around Tromso to adjust and test my gears. Yesterday, the chain came off twice… After a reinforcement at the southern tip, I decided to briefly stop by a workshop to ask for advice. They were very friendly, checked the settings, seemed satisfied, and wished me a good trip. Yuel's tips were my help for self-help – thanks again!
While strolling through the city, I passed the time until I met Davey and Sawa (the new guest) for coffee. Surprisingly, there was quite a bit of street art. The café recommended by Matteo (from the tourist office) with board games, etc. unfortunately closed at 4.30 PM today, so we had to go to another one. Sawa and I agreed on two things: I would hike up Fjellheisen again with him and jump into the fjord in the evening. His surprised face when I agreed without hesitation was wonderful.
Once home, it was time to roll the cinnamon rolls with Davey. With lots of chatting and laughing, we did pretty well, and I think Davey will bake them again.
The evening hike to the viewpoint at Fjellheisen was beautifully stunning again. The swim in the 9° cold fjord was not as bad as I expected. But I didn’t really want to swim properly now. Three strokes should be enough for the time being! By the way, it was 11:00 PM when I was swimming…
